Omega World Travel to Sponsor and Exhibit
at GovTravels 2017 Symposium
February 16, 2017 – Omega World Travel will join professionals and leading organizations in the federal and state government travel sector Feb. 27 to March 1, 2017, as a Silver Sponsor and exhibitor for the second annual GovTravels symposium.
Held at the Hilton Mark Center in Alexandria, Va., GovTravels is the only event of its kind where stakeholders in both government and the private sector can meet and collaborate on regulations, technology, challenges and best practices in government travel. This year, GovTravels adds the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO), which oversees commercial travel for the Department of Defense, as an official co-sponsor.
The 2017 symposium incorporates contributions and feedback from the General Services Administration, DTMO, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and private industry. In total, GovTravels offers access to presentations by significant speakers, discussions with travel decision makers, educational breakouts, and a full-fledged expo space.
Founder, President and CEO Gloria Bohan stated, “Omega is pleased to participate in this important NDTA conference that brings together key government and military leaders who are looking for the best service values from the travel community. As chair of the NDTA travel subcommittee, I know many excellent travel companies are anxious to learn about opportunities. This conference should provide a necessary forum.”
Distinguished speakers and panelists include Tim Burke, Government-wide Category Executive for Travel, William Mansell, Director, DTMO, Bret Kidd, President – The Americas, Travelport, Jonathan Mostowski, Acquisition Strategist for the Defense Digital Service, an agency team of the U.S. Digital Service, Gary Rasicot, Acting Deputy Administrator of TSA and Marques Tibbs-Brewer, Regional Sales Executive, Concur.
“I believe that we have assembled a superb group of authoritative speakers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and have an active dialog with the travel industry,” said Rear Admiral (Ret.) Mark Buzby, NDTA’s president and CEO, “and I know that they are anxious to hear what is on industry’s mind. This event is designed to facilitate that kind of exchange.”
