Facing the ‘Blizzard’ of 2016 caused a mix of emotions in travelers; frustration, anxiety, fear and uncertainty- to name a few. Fortunately for Omega travelers, Omega’s team was right there to lend a helping hand to fix itinerary changes, rebookings, hotel accommodations and the like.
Omega World Travel is highly experienced in handling crises of all different natures. We have provided client emergency support during terrorist attacks (9/11, Indonesia and Paris), hurricanes (Katrina, Rita, Ike, Andrew and Isabel), and military operations (Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom). In the recent snowstorm of 2016, Jonas, Omega staff was on-call once again. Our 24/7 staff emergency team was, like so many times before, there to handle travelers’ changed agendas swiftly and seamlessly. Omega agents contacted airlines and sorted through any changes necessary, in order to cancel or rebook impacted travel.
Being in the industry for 44 years, I know what really goes on behind the scenes at Omega. I am very happy with the superb service that Omega agents achieved during Snowstorm Jonas. Omega was able to provide a hardworking and dedicated Emergency Service Center team whom remained on-duty throughout the entire event. The team worked tirelessly, willing to take on extra shifts as needed.
