I have recently returned from an epic European Tour aboard Windstar’s STAR BREEZE. This trip included stops such as London, Bordeaux, Cognac, Bilbao, and Portugal. Windstar’s ship feels like family, as the staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. Having partnerships like these strengthen Omega’s programs and helps to highlight the positives of the cruise industry.
My staff has been very hard at work in Omega’s 46th year! I am blown away by the innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of my staff in general. In October, we went mobile! Omega launched the Omega Go app in September. The app is available for both Apple iTunes and Google Play stores. We have partnered with mTrip, and provide third-party booking tools to provide real-time updates when our clients are traveling. Furthermore, we have received approval from Amazon for the latest Alexa Skill. Travelers can now ask about things like top suppliers in top markets, cost analysis/ savings, and track Omega’s performance on service-level agreements. Not only can you now ask Alexa on echo, but you can do it right from the app!
In keeping up with our corporate responsibility mission, Omega is proud to attend the grand opening of the newest Junior Achievement storefront in Montgomery County this week. We currently sponsor one Junior Achievement storefront, in Fairfax County and are thrilled to continue to help young people learn how to be financially responsible to help them in the future.
