United Aquires ExpressJet for $70 Million

2019 starts off with a United Airlines deal to acquire ExpressJet from SkyWest for $70 million. The sale was purchased by United’s new ManaAir joint venture with KAir Enterprises, which is an airline-focused investment company. Prior to this acquisition, United had been the only carrier without an in-house regional partner. This deal will also help support United’s growth plan over the next two years.
