Many Airlines including Delta, American, and ANA are among the first to issue winter travel waivers ahead of the upcoming storm this weekend. These airlines are preparing for a storm that is predicted to leave up to seven inches of snow and gusty winds up to 52 mph. The two major airports dealing with the storm are Minneapolis/St. Paul International and Chicago O’Hare International. So far MSP has canceled 20 departures, and CHI has canceled eight but there are many more delays. Dallas airports are also seeing many cancellations due to the high winds, 197 thus far at DFW and Love Field has 47 delays. Ask your Omega agent if you are concerned about cancelations to your flight.
