In 2019, Boston-Logan Airport will see an increase of nearly 30 percent for daily flights compared to 2018. Delta and its partners will offer 149 daily departures and more than 50 destinations. For example, new routes include Amsterdam, London-Heathrow, Lisbon, Edinburg, and Seoul. KLM, Virgin Atlantic, and Korean are starting to fly more to and from Boston. On March 31, KLM launched a Boston – Amsterdam route adding to the already available daily flights operated by Delta. On April 1, Virgin Atlantic began its daily daytime service to London-Heathrow, a new morning departure to help enable workday productivity. Later this spring, Delta is starting its own seasonal service to Lisbon and Edinburgh that will round out its new international destinations. Beginning on April 12, Korean Air will launch nonstop flights to Seoul – celebrating the new joint venture between Delta and Korean Air. By the end of May, Delta and partners will have the most international seats from Boston and boast up to 19 international destinations – the most Boston has seen thus far.
