We have been following the Boeing 737 MAX story and bringing you the latest updates. Last week American Airlines had announced they would be canceling the Boeing 737 MAX flights until June, but they have now pushed cancellations until August. United and Southwest have also joined American in the cancellations. Approximately 100 daily flights will be affected through August 19. Both airlines made the decision to cancel as to limit further travel disruptions through the summer season. Some airlines have updated flight schedules, including Air Canada who also canceled 737 MAX flights earlier this year. American says they are confident that MAX will be recertified by August.
