Last month, Enterprise announced they will launch a Vehicle-Subscription Service. On May 1, Enterprise Holdings officially launched the service in Minnesota, Missouri, and Nevada. The new service is named “Subscribe with Enterprise” and utilizes the company’s already accessible rental locations. Enterprises Executive Vice President, Randal Narike said, “we’re starting out in just three states to make sure we have enough time to develop a deep understanding of the subscription process and consumer preferences.” Basically, a monthly subscription fee will allow consumers to choose from different vehicle classes including full-size, and premium sedans, small and mid-sized sedans, small and mid-size SUVs, and light duty trucks. Subscribers can change out their vehicle choice up to four times a month. To start, the minimum commitment is only two months and will include up to 3,000 miles per month. This is higher than regular leased vehicles. The subscription will also include roadside assistance, maintenance, damage and liability protection, and Sirius XM radio. The new service is part of Enterprise Holdings newest MaaS (Mobility as a Service), offering and customers will be able to apply online in the participating states. The first rollout includes these major cities: Minneapolis, St. Paul, Rochester and Duluth, Minn. St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia and Jefferson City, Mo. Also Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno, Nev. Once approved, customers will obtain a Subscriber ID and phone number to a dedicated concierge line.
