To handle the increase surges TSA is increasing security staff by 2,000 officers and a 20% increase in overtime funds. Travelers may see, automated screening lanes, computed tomography, and credential authentication technology at many airports. Passengers can also help keep lines moving by being prepared as always, and arriving early. TSA suggests at least two hours in advance for domestic travel and three hours for international travel.
