Hilton Inks First US Deal for Motto Brand

Hilton has secured its new Motto brand set to open in Atlanta in 2021, in the Old Fourth Ward district. Hilton’s Motto brand is modeled after the “micro-hotel” concept. The hotel will have 125 rooms, 13,000 square feet of restaurant space, 120,000 square feet of commercial space and 10 residential units. The average guest room is 163 sq. ft. and will include features such as lofted and wall beds, segmented showers, toilet stalls, and multi-use furniture. Travelers will be able to order connecting rooms in advance. The hotel brand, Motto, also will offer digital check-in, guestroom control of temperature, lighting, blackout shades, TV and a white-noise machine. The Motto’s will also have The “Commons”, a community hub with seating and plugs for work and lounging. Food and bar service will also be offered at The Commons. Hilton by Motto has a deal in the works for London Marylebone, scheduled to open in 2020. Other Motto’s scheduled to open include the following cities: New York, Lima, Copenhagen, and Mexico City.
