Beginning this November, International customers will experience a new and improved “Industry-leading” Main Cabin experience. Customers will be welcomed with free “Welcome Aboard” cocktails, hot towels, and a selection of mix-and-match appetizers and entrée meal options. Delta came up with this concept to “wow” the customers from the moment they board and to increase customer satisfaction. Travelers will even be welcomed with a custom greeting and personal flight attendant. Delta collected and studied data collected from passenger surveys to help make a better long haul cabin experience. Allison Ausband, Delta’s Senior Vice President –In-flight Service says “This is about investing in every single customer who chooses Delta, no matter where they sit on the plane. “The thoughtful touches we’re investing in throughout the new Main Cabin experience were designed by flight attendants with one goal in mind – delivering an exceptional experience that our customers will rave about and one that our team, the best in the business is proud to deliver.” Furthermore, On July 17, 2019 the New Air France Washington Lounge will be officially complete and re-modeled, including two levels, new chic ambiance, updated furniture, a bar and dedicated new and improved “night service” for travelers who want to order dinner before a night flight.
