Hilton announced recently that it will open a new property this month in San Francisco that will be its first hotel built in the Bay Area by modular construction. The brand is meant for travelers who want to maintain a routine while on the road and will feature tech and eco-friendly focused amenities. The hotel will have 155 rooms and is intended to meet the increasing tourism demand. The innovative process will allow all suites to have kitchens and modular furniture. Guests will be able to customize their rooms to their style. This construction style means the project is mostly built off-site as “modules” and then are brought together at the location. The structure was built in just 16 months and is owned by Sri Krishna Enterprises and managed by Southern Hospitality Services.
