American Airlines Reveals Improvements for Corporate Travelers

At this month’s Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) conference, American Airlines unveiled its plan to make improvements for corporate travelers and travel managers. One of the biggest developments include corporate traveler recognition, now accessible on American and Atlantic Joint Business (AJB) partners including British Airways, Finnair and Iberia. Corporate customers will be able to benefit from preferred seating and priority disruption recovering as soon as next year. Corporate travelers who book tickets issued from American Airlines Corporate Travel Agreements will be able to utilize free access to preferred seats through the airline’s website. Later this year, they will be able to use preferred seat selection via the mobile app as well. American Airlines’ website will provide a dedicated comprehensive overview of the full range and scope of the agency. Furthermore, corporate customers will get Priority Access on day of travel. Alison Taylor, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Distribution for American said, “Travelers expect a consistent experience whether they’re flying on American or any one of our Atlantic Joint Business partners. With corporate recognition now available on American, British Airways, Finnair and Iberia, we’re elevating the recognition, prioritization, and benefits that our corporate customers receive at every touch-point possible … Simplifying the day-to-day experience for our corporate travelers is one more way we can demonstrate our commitment to being the easiest airline to do business with as we continue to grow and diversify our corporate account portfolio.”
