Hyatt to return to Adelaide
After nearly a decade, Hyatt Group will return to Adelaide in the cities business district. The new property will be listed as an Intercontinental Hotel and will have 295 rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop bar, Regency Club, Market Café, a swimming pool, and 750 sq. ft. of event space. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2023 and will join two other properties in Australia – The Hyatt Sydney and The Hyatt Regency Perth. There are seven Hyatt branded hotels in Australia and Hyatt is looking forward to expanding in Australia in the future. Vice President, Real Estate and Development, Asia-Pacific, Monika Dubaj said, “The hotel is part of our strategy to provide more offerings to travelers as we expand in Australia, with new destinations such as Adelaide and Brisbane that will complement our current portfolio of seven hotels in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Canberra.”
