Hilton Welcomes The Wilbur Lititz

Earlier this month The Wilber Lilitz, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Lilitz, PA opened in the former Wilber Chocolate Factory. The Tapestry Collection are upscale hotels that get inspiration from their locations, in this case, the chocolate factory and offers a unique experience as the original space opened in the 1930s. The hotel is located next to Wilber Market, a food hall and the Wilbur Chocolate Museum. The hotel has approximately 74 rooms with exposed brick throughout the property and features original artwork and ads from the Wilbur Suchard partnership featuring the factory, for example. Visitors will immediately be greeted by the history of the building itself and feel the small town, historic vibe. There is also a full-service restaurant at the property, the Blackworth Live Fire Grill, a farm to table style restaurant. Furthermore, the hotel offers a fitness center and two meeting spaces, approximately 1,000 sq. ft. of space. Jenna Hackett, Global Head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, said, “The Wilbur Lititz is the brand’s first hotel in Pennsylvania, and it is also one that exudes the independent spirit of our brand by honoring the building’s unique history that is inherent to the destination… over the past year, Tapestry Collection has continued to form a well-rounded portfolio of hotels in key locations, from cities like Lititz, which offer a small-town feel rooted in rich history, to Caribbean destinations such as Bermuda and Jamaica.”
