New United Shuttle WAS to NYC

United announced a new shuttle service that will be available for purchase on January 18, which will be in service on March 29th. There will be 13 daily flights total between New York/ Newark and Washington, D.C and will operate on a CRJ-550, which is a first of its kind style jet. With this service, United will offer the most options to travel between these two cities more than any other airline. The CRJ-550 is a wide jet that offers 10 seats in first, 20 seats in economy plus, and 20 economy seats. There will be enough space for every customer to bring a roller bag, self-serve refreshment center for first-class customers, and more overall legroom for every customer. Sarah Murphy, United’s senior vice president of United Express, says, “Our customers who regularly travel between Washington, D.C. and New York – one of the busiest routes in the country – have told us they value convenient flights and a comfortable ride above all else … with our new shuttle service aboard the one-of-a-kind CRJ-550, United Airlines is the only carrier to deliver both.”
