Virgin Atlantic to Restart More International Services

Following the news that the U.S. would lift a ban on non-citizen travelers from the European Union and United Kingdom, Virgin Atlantic announced it would resume more transatlantic services this winter.

Flights from Heathrow to San Francisco restarted on Oct. 2, while daily Orlando and Las Vegas services will resume in November. Virgin Atlantic said it saw a 600 percent increase in bookings to the U.S. following President Joe Biden’s announcement in September.

In addition, the carrier will launch new flights to the Caribbean, including London to St. Vincent on Oct. 13, to the Bahamas on Nov. 20 November and to St. Lucia on Dec. 18.
