Omega World Travel CEO Spends 3 Days in Paris at the 2014 Global Summit of Women
FAIRFAX, VA - June 20, 2014- Gloria Bohan, President and CEO of Omega World Travel, attended the prestigious 2014 Global Summit of Women hosted in Paris, France earlier this month. The theme of the summit was, "Women, Redesigning Economies, Societies" and served as a collaboration hub where thousands of professional, government, and community leaders from more than 80 countries gathered to explore the ways women are re-shaping the business world and redefining leadership globally, while working to create sustainable futures and restoring peace world-wide.
"The atmosphere at the summit was electric with all the entrepreneurial and inspiring women sharing ideas and knowledge," said Gloria Bohan. As the CEO of one of the largest travel management companies in the U.S. she was delighted to know that people outside of the U.S., specifically those in attendance at the summit, were familiar with Omega World Travel and Cruise.com. "I was overwhelmed with gratitude after discovering how much impact and brand recognition we have and in particular Cruise.com has with the larger international community," she said.
The Global Summit of Women was conceived as the nexus at which all sectors – public, private and nonprofit – would come together under the common vision of dramatically expanding women's economic opportunities globally through exchanges of working solutions and creative strategies forged by women leaders in different parts of the world. For 23 years, the Summit has provided a business forum that focuses on women's advancement in the global economy.
